Simply
having a new line in your text file will not provide a new
paragraph or new line. When a browser views the HTML, it
actually appends each line together before processing the
file. It also removes extra spaces. Let me append this to
the last statement, Not all browsers follow appropriate
standards. For instance one specific browser ignores the
embedded code which means to insert a non-breaking
space. The particular browser that I am speaking of actually
displays this embedded code in the web page. If you see
things like this in your web pages you access please don't
blame those who created the web page, rather contact the
vendor of your browser, or maybe even stop using that browser.
Back
to starting a new paragraph. There are a few ways to start
a new paragraph. There are also some formatting parameters
to some of these tags as will be explained.
