Your Shared Account comes with the ability to add Urchin log analyzer. After Urchin is installed it is automatically run nightly to update with information from the previous day.

Installing Urchin
  1. Log in to your Silver Unix account with Telnet/SSH.
  2. From the UNIX shell prompt, type the following commands to install Urchin:
    % urchin_enable
    % /usr/local/bin/rotate

Updating Urchin
Run the following command to update Urchin immediately:

    % /usr/local/bin/rotate

Accessing Urchin
To access Urchin go to the following URL in your Web browser:

    http://domain.name/urchin
Note: Replace domain.name with your domain name.

Disabling Urchin

  1. Log in to your Silver Unix account with Telnet/SSH.
  2. From the UNIX shell prompt, type the following commands to disable Urchin:
      3. % urchin_disable

Uninstalling Urchin

  1. Log in to your Silver Unix account with Telnet/SSH.
  2. From the UNIX shell prompt, type the following commands to uninstall Urchin:
      3. % urchin_remove
