The Virtual Server root
user can run iManager and access the directories and
files to which they have rights. The iManager startup
prompts for a user name and password. iManager authenticates
the user by looking in the ~/etc/passwd file.
If the user does not exist in the password file, he
or she will be denied access. Access will be granted
only to the user's home directory. A subhost can log
in with a valid POP or FTP account. The subhost will
be granted access only to their home directory and cannot
create POP or FTP accounts.
