The various users of your VPS v2 Virtual Server are:

  • The root user
  • The Administrative User 
  • The virtual user
  • The system user

All instructions in this chapter are given as if you have connected to your VPS v2 Virtual Server using SSH, and are at the command prompt. After typing any UNIX command, press the Enter key.

# at the command prompt indicates a root user. % or $ at the command prompt indicates a non-root user.

If you prefer to work in a graphical interface, you can add users using iManager.
